| CONGRATULATIONS TO THE USA MONSTER ENERGY BBOYS FOR WINNING THE 2017 UK CHAMPIONSHIPS. THIS ALL REMINDS ME WHEN I WAS ASKED WHEN I WAS 19 YEARS OLD BY A DANCE MENTOR " WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS WITH WHAT YOU ARE DOING WITH THIS DANCE? " AS I REPLIED , " I will take this dance to the point where its a profession similar to all other athletes and even extreme sports professionals creating a greater change in our worlds " (back at a time that it was not highlighted, and seemed merely as only a talked about thought, amongst our community) Fast forward to today 4/19/2017 , creating ideas based off this dance and how to expand it, while seeing the evolution of this dance and practitioners of the dance. At one point it was local community groups & individuals who represented this dance as "CREWS" . Today we see cooperate sponsored crews, individuals, and events in the ever growing art form of BREAKIN'. With this phase of Breakin' lets keep taking it to levels un-thought of . Thank you to all the people who make this possible, HIP HOP. Shout out to EVERYONE WHO MAKES THeSe IDEAS POSSIBLE , all crews, families, groups, sponsored teams , and even the underground individuals that represent for our culture. NOW LETS SEE OUR GENERATION'S ICONIC BATTLE SIMILAR TO ROCK STEADY CREW VS DYNAMIC ROCKERS @ Lincoln Center WHERE THE INVESTING COMPANIES THAT SPONSOR THESE INDIVIDUALS AND GROUPS REFLECT & PUT TOGETHER LONG TERM SOLUTIONS TO THE NEEDS OF ALL THE INDIVIDUALS AND THEIR COMMUNITIES. Project Breakalign's mission is the reduction of injuries for dancers. The methodology behind Project Breakalign's work is focused on Breaking (Breakdance), but the theoretical and practical education is useful for all kinds of dancers. It revolves around the anatomy, the biomechanics and the psychology of the dancer.
Project Breakalign is happy to be working in association with DANCE UK.
Project Breakalign is made of a team of dance and medical specialists. The core team members are:
- Aline Soyer (Part-time Administrator, Physiotherapist)
- DJ Renegade (Martial Artist, Breaking Coach)
- Erin Sanchez (Manager of DANCE UK's Healthier Dancer Programme)
- Gavin Vincent / Bboy Hawkz (Dance teacher, Physiotherapist)
- Johannes Hattunen / Bboy Hatsolo (Dancer, Conditioning Coach, Choreographer, Dance Teacher)

*March 11. 2017 kicks off the start of our yearly 5 event series from March - August.
This initiative was created as a training / competition platform for all BGIRLS & BBOYS to test their skills in the atmosphere of battle and gain the required knowledge needed .
Especially for dancers in the NJ/ NYC Tri state area who have a stigma of big ego's and basic skills.
SO in order to stop this stigma ..aside from Myself ( Rival ) & many others in our local area catching wreck with dancers in the circles and delivering some rounds ,
I put together these events for educational and training purposes.
Being able to provide all competitors their battles to study and better themselves and our community.
