"Henry Vijande also known as "RIVAL" is Cuban American . Since Henry's birth Cuban Culture has influenced him. At a young age he was introduced to many sounds of music which captured his ability to dance. This paved the way to recognize Hip-Hop, Rockin’ aka Breakin’. Engaged to Hip Hop by its elements he continued his journey as a teenager. Entering this uncharted world created his tag RIVAL. Thru his continued dedication Rival has acquired skills and experiences in the many facets of this dance ( i.e. Cyphering, Battling, Competing, Commercial/Entertainment/Theatrical work, Street Dancing, Training, Teaching & Learning ). Rival has also created and organized events ( Cypher in the Hood (Cypha in da Hood) Bboy & Bgirl event, 2008 East Coast Overdose, Freedom of Expressions). He started, operates, and owns a small business named NBK Nothing But Knowledge LLC. A facility where people can go and learn about the many elements of hip hop culture. His continued passion and dedication has created the platform for BBOY BGIRL LIFESTYLE. Rival has experienced wins, losses, draws, recognition and non-recognition from the general public to his family & friends, supporters and non supporters. Rival maintains in the pursuit of growth, establishment, expansion & maturity. As a student Rival continues to develop in and out of the circle of dance & life.
