Circle to Circle, bboy to bgirl, Let's dance

It starts with a common unity. The music brings us together.  Just as we were breaking the mold of indoor quarantining, I was invited to a family gathering in honor of our community.  Walking into the area the vibe was set with music , drumming, and an altar in remembrance of  Robert Ross (June 8, 1968[2] – April 17, 2021), known professionally as Black Rob, who was an American rapper,​ but first and foremost a person of his family, community  & peers. 
I'd like to respectfully  take a moment for the community members and their loved ones-- who may have passed on due to covid.

            From the Late 80's to the Early 90's our dance went through a period of time in which almost no one cared to break.
Only a few select dancers holding on to a movement and dance, created from a moment in time, were to be found.  The resurgence of this dance building momentum for about 26 years,  comes to a halt  due to another major impact "Covid-19" . The global pandemic put a halt to our gatherings, leaving the purest, and passion hearted bboy bgirl , breaking practitioner to share in dance via the internet circle.  The global halt resulted in Bgirls and Bboys world wide sharing virtual communications  to display their dance. Dancers sharing solo exhibitions,  competing in contests, new virtual teaching programs, all through the World Wide Web.

Community Update 

As we the people work on resuming some sort of normalcy in bringing our people together in dance, we also find ourselves operating in some new capacities as our dance further develops as an accepted Olympic Sport. ​​

In a very dope exchange of ideas, Bboy Victor continues building with his wins. 

 My first  in person community gathering after quarantine  started off  in Pennsylvania at an event called
"Rock City".

 Although there were some private invite only events , due to  everyone's safety concerns being met,  I chose to go out and support this public event.  

"Rock city is a breaking event x competition founded by BBOY LIL ROCK with the intent to uplift our local community and share the breaking culture for our future generations. One of our main goals is to give shine to underground x new x old hidden talent (bboys x bgirls) also to give young bboys a reason to train harder and reach that next level by preparing for the event."

​ Pulling up into the parking lot ,  music bumping , with my partner and also with my  friend bboy practitioner / music producer, the vibe was just like it was before the pandemic. Positive emotions /  thought vibrations  good music and people.  Life had it, that as  I pulled in to the parking spot I see one of the DJ's of the night DJ FLEG.   As I greeted the music selector,  the harmonious feeling of seeing fellow community members  grew. I knew this was going to be a good moment to reconnect to the music and our community.  I walked into the venue respectfully greeting my peers and floor family to then see the Rocking Community , Uprockers,  in their Apache line .

I was able to see my rocking family Mastermind Rockers, along with Dynasty Rockers & BVD's  rocking groups.  Once you see that going down, you know its time to get to business. However what happens on the line and in the Cypher is energy that is manifested and left in the moment of  that CIRCLE .
